WARNOCK, MABEL LOUISE, 85, of Lineville, Iowa, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at her home. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011, at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Home in Lineville, Iowa, with Pastors Leroy Perkins and Max Carmichael officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville, Iowa.

MABLE LOUISE WARNOCK ... Mabel Louise Warnock, daughter of Hugh Alexander and Grace [Treon] Litton, was born on July 13, 1925, in Lock Springs, Missouri, and passed away peacefully on April 13, 2011, at her home in Lineville, Iowa, at the age of 85 years.

Louise moved with her parents to Lineville, Iowa, at the age of 4 years and was a 1942 graduate of Lineville High School. She also attended the Chillicothe, Missouri, Business College. She was united in marriage to Carroll Ellsworth Warnock on October 7, 1943, and to this union three children were born, Linda Lea, Twylia Grace, and John Hugh.

Louise started her secretarial career at the REC in Platte City, Missouri, and continued later at the Alley Grain Company in Mercer, Missouri. She then moved to Des Moines, Iowa, and worked as a welder in an artillery munitions plant during World War II. After her father's sudden death in 1945, she returned to Lineville and eventually opened a restaurant with her mother. A few years lager she returned to her secretarial career when she and Carroll built Warnock Stockyards in South Lineville, Missouri, and started buying hogs. In 1972, they added to their business Warnock Trailer Sales, an she continued as secretary until her death. Her hobbies and activities included horse shows, bowling, crocheting, knitting, fishing, dancing, playing cards with friends, and high school sporting events. She loved supporting her community and school.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her son John; father and mother-in-law, Russell and Doll Warnock; a sister-in-law, Doris Warnock; and by a brother-in-law, Bob Hanson. She is survived by her husband Carroll of 67 years, of their home in Lineville; her daughters, Linda Lewison (and son-in-law, Jim) of Jacksonville, Florida and Twylia Rockhold (and son-in-law, Marvin) of Lineville; a daughter-in-law, Christina Warnock of Corydon, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Wesley Lewison (and his wife, Kim), Zachary Lewison (and his wife, Tobey), Cheri Schmit (and her husband, Mike), Jonathan Rockhold (and his wife, Kendra), David Nessen, Darby Warnock (and his friend, Jana), and Darcy Warnock (and her friend, Jared); six great-grandchildren, Alyssia Nickerson, Andrew and Jacob Schmit, Kylee and Kale Rockhold, and Miley Baughman; a sister-in-law, Lois Hanson, of Des Moines, Iowa; and by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
