Death By Accident

Seymour, Iowa, April 5 – The coroner in the case of the death of the supposes W. M. Sergeant, which occurred early Saturday morning, returned a verdict of death by accidentally walking through the open gate of the shaft. No evidence of foul play was brought out. Chief of Police at Des Moines says there is no J. B. Sergeant in the city, so the body remains unidentified. This man was of light completion, medium height and weighed about 150 lbs.
