John Diehl and Elizabeth Spanner sometime before
1840. They had two daughters Elizabeth 1in 1840/1841 and Mary born 1842. in Riverside,
Washington County Iowa. John died, it appears
as it was a sudden Death in 1843. He is buries in
Cooper's Cemetery. I
I would like to know dates of his death and burial. I do not know if they associated with a church. Maybe German Reformed? I also do not know if they knew each other in Germany. John Kind of appeared out of nowhere, they married, then had children.
Any suggestion on where to search for their marriage? They could have known each other in Germany. They were both from Hessen-Kisel, Germany, I think. I know that she was anyway.

If you have any suggestions of where I can find
information on any of the above? All information will be much appreciated. Thank. you very much.
