Robert Sands of Highland Twp, IA

Hi,

I am looking for more information on Robert Sands, who moved with his family from Ohio to Highland Twp., Washington County, Iowa between 1850 and 1860. He died in Highland in September 1879. Robert had sons John and Edmund T. (1823-1880; married Mary Ann McFadden in 1844) plus two daughters, one named Mary. Both Robert and son Edmund are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Washington, Washington County, Iowa.

Edmund's widow Mary Ann Sands and sons Alva and Robert G. later moved to Pierce County, Washington State.

Any data you may have on Robert Sands of Highland township would be appreciated.
