Doctor Franklin Osborn was born about 1848 in Indiana. He was a farmer living in 76 township, Washington county, Iowa. He married Margaret Ann Marr Caril in1867.
He had six children, Harry Parker, Sylvia, Woodford, Maggie, Viola C. and William T. His family was told that he died about 1885. He is listed in the Federal census in1880, but not in the 1885 Iowa census.
