It appears that Mrs. Brinning's first name was Golda May and she died in Michigan in 1975.

This is what I located for you:

Golda May Hogan was born on 1 October 1911 in Farmington, Van Buren, Iowa. Her father was John Edward Hogan and her mother was Hattie Lola Dawson. Golda married Verle L. Brinning on January 27, 1927 in Washington County, Iowa using the surname of her stepfather, Charles Van Doren. Golda died in Warren, Macomb County, Michigan on January 24, 1975 according to the Michigan Death Index. Her residence was listed as Roseville, Michigan. Golda and Verle Brinning are listed in the Burlington, Iowa 1943 city directory at 2411 Flint Hills Drive, Burlington and then starting in 1951, they are living at 27840 Blum, Roseville, Michigan.
