Rites Friday for CWO James L. Lewis

Funeral services for Chief Warrant Officer James Leo Lewis of Washington will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home, with Rev. W. J. Stevens in charge. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites.

CWO Lewis was killed in a helicopter crash in Korea a few weeks ago. He is the son of Mrs. Anna Lewis and the late Frank Lewis of Washington.

Survivors include his mother, his wife {Erika S. Lewis}, three daughters, three brothers and three sisters.

Lewis. — Funeral services for CWO James Leo Lewis were held Friday at 4 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with Rev. W. J. Stevens and Rev. William Arnold in charge. Pallbearers were Charles Kennedy, George Rudiger, Leo Stone, Stan Chabal, Sperry Kaster and Jay Brewer.

Military rites were handled by the American Legion with M.L. Whittaker as commander; Dale Atkinson, George Baker,j Harvey Davis, Earl Galloway, color guard; Don Hazen, Tom Tanner, Harold Jarvis, Leo Nardy, firing squad; Jesse Radda bugler; Sam West, echo. Major Supple, Capt. Kirwood and CWO Ellis were military representatives
