KALONA - Funeral services for Laura V. Gingerich, 78, of Kalona, were held MOnday at 2 p.m. at the Peterseim Chapel with the Rev. J. John J. Miller officiating. Burial will be at East Union Cemetery, rural Kalona. Mrs. Gingerich died Saturday evening, Aug. 9, 1975, at Washington County Hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Gingerich was born Sept. 5, 1896, the daughter of Elmer J. and Magdalene Yoder Guengerich. She married Walter Gingerich on Sept. 4, 1919.
She was a member of East Union Mennonite Church.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth of Des Moines; and four brothers, Willis V. of Greenwood, Del.; Edwin E. (Jack) and L. Glen both of Kalona, and Paul T. of Harrisonburg, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son and one brother.
