RIVERSIDE - Albert R. Spenner, of Route 2, died this morning at Mercy Hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Peterseim Chapel in Kalona. Burial will be in Memory Gardens in Iowa City. Visitation begins at 7 p.m. today.
Mr. Spenner was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, the Eagles Lodge, the Oddfellows Lodge and the Iowas Golden Age Club.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Phyllis) Zahradnek, of Riverside, Mrs. Wayne (Delores) Zahradnek, of Iowa City, Mary E. King, of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Mrs. Dean (Caroline) Amelon, of Iowa City; two brothers, Frank, of Laramie, Wyo., and William, of Kalona; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Spenner's wife died earlier.
A memorial fund has been established.
