Walter Ihrig Funeral Services Friday, Nov. 5

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, November 5, 1965 at the Frank Pierce Church of Christ for Walter G. Ihrig who died Tuesday evening at a Wellman nursing home. Ministers in charge will be Raymond Lyon and Richard Yoder.
Mr. Ihrig was born in Washington county July 29, 1890 and died at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 3 days. He was the son of William E. and Cora Ihrig. On December 16, 1914 he was married to Laura Powell.
Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Robert McGlumphrey of Kalona; two sons: Francis Merle and Robert of Iowa City; 15 grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Blance Shulthise and Mrs. Zelda Stromgren, both of California, Mrs. Eunice Kesselring of Iowa City and Mrs. Orpha Fouart of Minnesota; three brothers: Keith of Florida, Kenneth of Iowa City, and Elmer of British Honduras.
Interment will be made in the Frank Pierce cemetery. The Peterseim Funeral Service are in charge of arrangements.
