Washington County's Oldest Resident Dies

KALONA - Mrs. Grant Snider, Washington County's oldest resident died Tuesday morning in a Wellman nursing home at the age of 102.
Born in the Kalona area in 1863, she lived all her life in this vicinity. She was the former Grace Allen. Her last husband was an undertaker here for many years.
Survivors include her sister Cora Boehme of Kalona.
Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Methodist Church. The body is at Peterseim Funeral Home.
