Funeral Services Saturday Morning For Mrs. Britton

Funeral services will be held at the Kalona Methodist church at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning, April 28, 1956 for Mrs. Wm. S. Britton who died Wednesday morning in a Muscatine hospital. Mrs. Britton had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage three years ago and had been in poor health since.
The body will remain at the Peterseim Funeral Home until time of services. Rev. C. Dendy Garret will officiate.
Rose Pitlick Britton was born in Johnson County August 19, 1902, the daughter of Paul and Mary Pitlick. At the time of her death, she was 53 years 8 months and 6 days of age.
On September 4, 1929 she was married to William S. Britton. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Edith Mae and two sons Dale and Gerald all at home. Her mother Mrs. Mary Pitlick, Stuttgart, Arkansas; two brothers Fred of Wellman and Paul, Stuttgart, Arkansas; Three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Schenk, Riverside; Mrs. Barbara Frauenholtz, Iowa City; and Mrs. Mary Lackender Morvia.
Internment will be made in the Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona.
