Funeral Services Friday Morning For Anna C. Pieper

Miss Anna Cecilia Pieper died suddenly at her home southwest of Kalona Monday evening, March 5th, 1956 following a heart attack at the age of 78years, 1 month, and 6 days.
Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, March 10 in the Holy Trinity church at Richmond. Rev. Fr. W.V. Snell will sing the requiem mass. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. The body will remain at the Peterseim Funeral Home until time of services and the rosery will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.
She was born near Kalona January 29, 1878, the daughter of Frank and August Menthius Pieper. She lived all her life on the farm near Kalona. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Richmond.
Survivors include three brothers Henry, John and Charles, all of Kalona. Miss Pieper had made her home with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mrs. Carl Emde; one brother Louis and three half-brothers, Joe, Will and Frank.
