Services Tuesday for Crile

WASINGTON - Clyde H. Crile, 75, died Saturday in the long-term care unit of Washington County Hospital.

He was born April 28, 1912, in Fairfield, the son of Henry and Mary Anderson Crile. He was educated in Jefferson County and married Helen Loeffler Nov. 17, 1933, in Mount Pleasant.

Crile farmed in Washington County most of his life. He was a World War II veteran, member of United Methodist Church and Senior Citizens at the YMCA.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Marvin, Washington, and Tonnie, Brighton; two daughters, Connie Bauer, Washington, and Linda Boston, Atlantic; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mabel Cain, Longmont, Colo.

Services for Crile will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Washington with the Revs. Walter Phelps and Debra Kiesey officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery.

Visitation has started at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington and the family will receive friends tonight from 7-8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established to the American Lung Association.
