Ronald Eugene Davis, 69, of Wellman, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at his home. Mr. Davis was born Oct. 21, 1942, in Washington, the son of Virgil and Kathleen (Whestine) Davis. He married Connie Jo Brown on Jul 31, 1965, in Kinross. She preceded him in death. He later married Deborah Cole. The couple later divorced. Surviving are two sons, Mark Davis and wife Angela of Iowa City, and Ron Davis Jr. and Shelly McArtor of Kalona; two daughters, Sarah Davis of Wellman and Gina Cooper of Wellman; granchildren Audri Ann Davis and Preston Lee Davis; two brothers, Kenneth and wife Sheryl of Oskaloosa, and Virgil Davis Jr. and wife Chris of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Connie Jo on Sep 19, 1983; one sister, Phyllis Davis; and two infants.
