Sandra Sue Richards, 69, of Brighton, died late Wednesday, Dec 26, 2012, at Washington County Hospital. She had been in failing health. She was born Sep 20, 1943, in Oskaloosa, to A.V. "Sonny" and Barbara E. (Payton) Sparks. She married John Richards in Washington, Aug 19, 1962.
Sue is survived by her husband in Brighton, one daughter, Michelle Huffaker (David) of Baxter, and three sons; Jeff (Pat) of West Plains, MO., Adam (Kippen) of Riverside and Matt of West Des Moines, and four grandchildren; Kaitie, Peri, Payton, and Clay. Her parents preceded her in death.
