Mary (Mast) Hershberger, 86, of Hutchinson, KS., formerly of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. Mrs. Hershberger was born Mar. 6, 1925, in Kokomo, IN., the daughter of Mennon and Katie (Schlabach) Mast. She married Thomas Wesley Yoder on Oct 2, 1947. He preceded her in death on Feb 7, 1948. She married Mark Hershberger on June 19, 1949, in Kalona. Surviving are her husband Mark Hershberger; four sons, Firman and wife Sovilla of Kalona, Jacob and wife Esther of Couteau, OK., Daniel and wife Verna of Hutchinson KS., and Joseph of Brighton; five daughters, Miriam Hersberger of Hutchinson, KS., Susan Yoder and husband LaVern of Hicksville, OH., Rosella Gottfred and husband Erik of Pottsville, PA., Elizabeth Beachy and Harley Beachy Jr. of Hutchinson, KS., and Esther Miller and husband Robert of Coalgate, OK., 40 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband; four grandchildren; three brothers, David, Andrew and Abraham Mast; and three sisters, Susanna Mast, Sarah Miller, and Esther Mast.
