Jackson Rites Set

Mrs. John E. Jackson, 88, 507 N. Fourth, died today at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. William H. Kettlitz officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Mrs. Jackson was born March 6, 1889, in Scotland, S.D., the daughter of George and Catherine Schneider. She was a graduate of the Washington High School and Washington Academy.

Her marriage to John E. Jackson took place Nov. 6, 1910. He died June 17, 1971.

Mrs. Jackson had been a resident of Fairfield since 1935. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and Beta Sigman Circle. She taught school in Washington County before moving to Fairfield.

Survivors include two sons, John C., Fairfield, and Harold B., Seattle, Wash., and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and an infant son.
