White Funeral At Washington

Death came Saturday to Mrs. Maggie E. White, 304 W. Briggs, who died at the Jefferson County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

The body was taken to the Jones Funeral Home in Washington where last rites will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery at Washington.

Maggie E. White, 89, was born Jan. 8, 1884, at Yarmouth, the daughter of James and Eleanor Vinton Boileau. She was reared and educated at Washington.

She was married Jan. 11, 1905, at Washington, to Bert White who died Jan. 22, 1952. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alice Richardson of Fairfield, for the past 12 years.

Other survivors include three sons, Bacon White, Waco, Texas; Ernest and Harold White, both of Fort Myers, Fla.; also seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hoyle, Washington, and Mrs. Anna Eldridge, Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two sisters and four brothers.

Mrs. White attended the Baptist Church.
