Mrs. Perry Woods Dies Here Monday

Mrs. Perry Woods, 96, resident of Washington for 69 years, died at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 1962. She had been ill about two years.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Jones Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd Latta in charge. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Member of the VFW Auxiliary will meet at the Jones Funeral Home Wednesday at 1 p.m. to attend in a group.

Mary M. Tolles was born Nov. 30, 1865 in Red Rock, Iowa, a daughter of Charles W. and Mary Nash Tolles.

On July 31, 1887 she married to James W. Loehr who died in 1890. She was married to Perry C. Woods Oct. 23, 1893, and he preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1955.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are two daughters: Mrs. A. N. Dayton of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Willard Gray of Washington; three sons: Ralph and Claude Woods of Washington, and Howard of Gary, Ind.; one sister, Helen Nash; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

Four children preceded her in death.
