Marie Forbes dies

NICHOLS --- Marie Forbes, 79, of Nichols, died Saturday, June 13, 1987, at her home.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be in the Nichols Cemetery. Visitation will begin ar 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Forbes was born May 20, 1908, a daughter of Charles and Armita Montgomery Grim. She married Ransom Forbes in Kahoka, Mo., on Feb. 10, 1942. He died in 1974.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alice McCullough of Coralville; and many nieces and nephews.
