LAST RITES SATURDAY FOR
FATHER OF LOCAL MAN

Final rites for the father of a resident of this community, Asa Goldesberry, were held at 1:15 Friday afternoon at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home in Muscatine and at 2:30 p.m. at Swank Cemetery.

Frank Goldesberry, 94, died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond Burham, in Rock Island, Illinois.

Survivors include three sons; six daughters, 21 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife. The former Daisy Hill of Conesville, one daughter, four brothers and two sisters.

Burial was in Swank cemetery. The Rev. LaVerne Hibbard officiated.
