12 December 1963Mrs. Helen Dawson dies this morning
Mrs. Helen M. Dawson, 84, died this morning, Dec. 12, 1963, at the Pines rest home here. She had been ill for the past year.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Sherman-Eden Funeral Home with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery at Brighton.
Helen Doig was born July 15, 1879 in Washington County, a daughter of Mose and Susan Smith Doig. She had spent her entire life in this county and was married Dec. 9, 1903 to Roy Dawson. He died Oct. 30, 1946.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Ramberg of Traer; and a son, Raymond Dawson of Brighton. Also three grandchildren.
