Mrs. Underwood, 96.

Mrs. Henry Underwood, 96, of Riverside, died Saturday, January 12, 1974, in the long term care center at Washington County Hospital.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today in the Jones Funeral Home here with the Rev. Sam Bowser in charge. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Helen Kohlicek was born Aug. 18, 1877, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine Stransky Kohlicek. She was reared in this county and married here April 18, 1900, to Henry Underwood. He died July 23, 1961.

She was a member of Eicher Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Fred Havel of Riverside; a nephew, Louis Havel of Ainsworth; two granddaughters, Mrs. Frank Lukavsky and Mrs. Robert Todd of Washington; four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Olive Linnenkamp, preceded her in death.
