Raymond W. Algoe dies unexpectedly.

COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Raymond W. Algoe of Akeley, Minn., became ill a short time after arriving to visit his daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Kathleen) Clark at Columbus, City, died a short time later of an apparent heart attack after being taken to the Washington County Hospital.

Visitation starts at noon Friday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.

Mr. Algoe was a farmer and carpenter and had worked at Vega Industries. He was born September 30, 1915 at Winterset, a son of David and Emma Haines Algoe. He married Faye Lightner April 5, 1935 and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clark of Colombus Junction and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Sheets of Rochester, Minn.; and a son, David of St. Cloud, Minn., nine grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
