May 18, 1972WOMAN DIES IN LACEY-KEOSAUQUA STATE PARK SUNDAY
A 47-year-old Washington, Iowa woman was found dead of an apparent heart attack in her family camper at Lacey-Keosauqua State Park early Sunday morning.
She was Mrs. Mildred Morgan, wife of Ted Morgan. The couple and several other Washington families were spending the weekend in their campers at the park.
Dr. Kiyoshi Furumoto, Van Buren County assitant medical examiner, said it appeared she had died of natural causes shortly before her husband discovered her dead at approximately 6:45 a.m.
Friends said she had complained earlier in the evening of not feeling well and had been up at 3 a.m. to take a pain pill.
