Alex Dorsch dies Sunday

Alex Dorsch, 69, of 409 west Fifth Street here died Sunday, Dec. 31, 1978 at the Washington County Hospital after a brief illness.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Boeke and Mike Schaff in charge.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 p.m. this evening to greet friends. Memorials may be given to Halcyon House.

Mr. Dorsch was born in Kansas City, Mo., June 23, 1909, a son of George and Mollie Dorsch. He was reared in Nebraska and Wayland and married here June 1, 1946, to Betty Maxine Rapp.

An automobile mechanic, he had worked for Stewart & Crone and Town & Country Plymouth for a number of years.

Surviving are his wife; two sons: Gary and Stanley, both of Washington; and a grandson, Jeffery.
