Mrs. Bessie Bundy, 82, Dies in Portland, Ore.

Mrs. Bessie Bundy, 82, died Thursday, July 30, at the home of her son in Portland, Ore., following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held at ? p.m. Saturday in the Turner Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.

Bessie Sowash was born Sept. 6, 1877 in Washington County, a daughter of Al and Alice Knupp Sowash. She was reared and educated in Washington and married J. A. Bundy who died in 1955. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one son, Paul of Portland, Ore., and one brother Roy Sowash of Washington.
