Graveside services for Reno Norton, 87, of Washington will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Elm Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Debby Kiesey will officiate. Visitation begins at Jones Funeral Home, Washington, after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Norton died Thursday morning June 30, 1983 at the Washington Care Center. He had been in failing health for some time and seriously ill the past two days.

Reno Norton was born Feb. 7, 1896, in Keokuk County, the son of Daniel Dunn and Mary Stipes Norton. He lived most of his life in the county and worked on the section for the railroad. Never married, Mr. Norton was the last of his family.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and three sisters.
