Louise HERR CHARBON, 79, of North Liberty, died Saturday, March 3, 1984 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at the TIffin United Methodist Churvh with Rev. Charles KELLOGG in charge. Burial was in the Tiffin Cemetery.

She was born in Washington County October 20, 1904, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Viola V STEPHENS HERR. She attended Ainsworth High School and the University of Iowa. She married Arthur L. CHARBON in Ainsworth, November 24,1937. and they famed in Johnson County. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Farm Bureau, Tiffin United Methodist Church and was a 4H leader.

Surviving are two two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Larry HJ SEXTON of Ainsworth and Ruth (Mrs. Omer L.) FOUNTAIN of Kalona, one son, Fred of Iowa City; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth (Mrs. Howell) REES, of Columbus Junction.

She was preceded in deaht by her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
