Boyd LOWRY services Tuesday

MORNING SUN - Services for Boyd R. LOWRY, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Sushil Joseph officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

LOWRY died early Christmas morning at Morning Sun Manor. He had been in nursing homes since July and in failing health the past five years.

LOWRY had worked in construction and farming in the Washington County area during most of his lifetime. He was born in Washington County Sept. 25, 1921, the son of Oscar and Bessie WILES LOWRY.

He married Wilma SINN July 20 1963 in Oquawka, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are four stepchildren; Pat TALLEY, Fairfield; Terry KASKA, Fairfield; Charles SINN, Crawfordsville; and Cheryl POLTON, Brighton. Two brothers, Vern of Washington, and Wesley of Brighton, plus a sister, Dora TINNES of Keota, also are living. Thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.

LOWRY was preceded in death by a stepdaughter and a granddaughter.
