Mrs. Rosa Riley dies this morning

Mrs. Rosa Riley, 83, of 904 West Main Street died this morning, June 18, 1964, in the Washington County Hospital. She had been seriously ill for the past month.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. W.J. Stevens in charge. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Brighton.

Rosa May Edwards, was born Dec. 29, 1880 at Ottawa, Kansas, a daughter of Robert and Sarah Norton Edwards. She was reared at Chariton and married Nov. 4, 1898 at Wayland to David Oscar Riley. He died in July of 1942. She was a former resident of the Brighton and Coppock communities.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Eva Fish of Washington; a son, Charles F. Riley of Avon, Ill; and several grandchildren.
