Francelia Z. Farrier, 81, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Brighton, died early Friday morning at University Hospital after a long illness.

She was born Jan. 6, 1907, in Washington county and married Floyd Farrier on Sept. 16, 1926, at Washington. He died in 1945. She had lived in the Brighton area most of her life. She was a telephone operator for the Brighton telephone system and worked for the American Pearl Button Factory in Washington for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Goss of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Keith and Kermit of Ottumwa, Kenneth of Brighton and Karel of Washington; a brother, Gilbert Dickinson of Savanna, Ill.; a sister, Eugenia Edward of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services: Monday 11 a.m. at Gould Funeral Home, Brighton, by the Rev. Naomi Lock. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery, Brighton. Friends may call at the funeral home today beginning at 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to Mercy Home Health Care at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
