FUNERAL OF GERO. FAIRCHILD HERE
YOUNG MAN, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES AT GARY, IND., LAST NIGHT
The body of George Fairchild, 23, of Gary, Ind., will be brought to Washington for funeral services and burial. The body is to arrive tonight, and members of the family are expected tomorrow evening, driving through from Gary.
The young man died last night after having been ill since last spring with tuberculosis. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Fairchild and two brothers, Kenneth and Lloyd. An aunt here is Mrs. John Messenger.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday afternoon from the L. A. Jones funeral home, the definite hour to be announced later.
George Fairchild was born near Packwood, and lived at Washington for a number of years with his family, attending school here. They moved to Gary about eight years ago.

Funeral services for George Fairchild, 23, will be held at the L. A. Jones funeral home at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. A. A. Vinz will preach the funeral sermon.
The young man died Wednesday night at Gary, Ind., where he moved with his parents and brothers after living in Washington, and the family is driving here.
