Oda Reed, 82, of Fairfield, formerly of Ollie, died Saturday, Jan 3, 2009, in her home.

Mrs. Reed was born July 30, 1926 on the family farm near Harper, the daughter of Peter J. and Pearl (Sondag) Adam. She married Eugene Reed on Nov 6, 1945 in St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Harper.

Surviving are her husband; children, Tom Reed and wife Linda of Athens, Ga., Dick Reed and wife Kathy of Hedrick, Deborah Hammes and husband Jack, and Becky Greiner and husband Steve of Richland, Tena Adam and husband Nick and Mary Jo Clingan and husband Roger of Batavia, and Harry Reed and wife Annette of Riverside; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edith Warwick of Delta, Verda Sieren of Keota, and Verena Snakenburg of Sigourney and a brother Harry Joe Adam of Columbus Junction.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son; three brothers; and four sisters.
