Riverside Deaths:
"Otto Novy, 86, of Riverside died today at a Lone Tree nursing home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Riverside with burial in the Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sorden and Adams funeral home in Riverside after 1 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Novy was born March 1, 1885 at Riverside, son of Albert and Anna Bahor Novy. He married Lena Kron October 1, 1913. He farmed in the Riverside area until his retirement.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Miss Norma Jean Novy of Riverside and Mrs. Thelma Zielinski of Davenport; a son, Eldon of Cedar Rapids, a brother, Albert of Riverside; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and a grandchild."
