Riverside Deaths:
"Dale Otto Novy, 45, of Riverside, died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City after a long illness.
Services will be Saturday at 10 am at Sorden & Adams Chapel in Riverside with the Rev. W. F. Boeckmann of St. Mary's Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. There also will be full military service at graveside.
Friends may call at the Chapel after 3 pm Friday.
Mr. Novy was born in Washington county, June 5, 1922, the son of Otto and Lena Kron Novy. He married Phyllis Bowman December 6, 1948. He was a lifelong resident of the Riverside area. He was in the Navy in World War II and a member of the VFW Post No. 6414 in Riverside.
Surviving are his widow, one son, Dennis, and a daughter Linda both at home; his parents, two sisters Mrs. S. J. (Velma) Zielinski of Davenport and Norma Jean Novy of Riverside, and one brother, Eldon of Cedar Rapids."
