C.E. (Ernie) Baker, 71, died Monday Aug 24, 1992, at Davis County Hospital. Mr. Baker was born Aug 29, 1920, in Washington, the son of Sam and Fern May Baker. He married Mary Hopping on Nov 26, 1960, in Des Moines. Survivors include his wife and three daughters, Nancy Schmitt, Lotawana, MO., Sue Swartz, West Pal Beach, FL., Joy Jackson, Pomona, KS.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bessie Schlatter, Wayland; Ruth Zieglowsky, Washington, and Juanita Dickinson, Birmingham; and two brothers, Everett, Richland; and Donald, Farson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.
