Howard Baker, 81, died Saturday, Sep 27, 1975, at Washington County Hospital. Mr. Baker was born June 15, 1894, in Washington County, the son of Lewis and Laura Jacobs Baker. On Aug. 26, 1915, he married Mable Hotle at Washington. Survivors include his wife, Mabel; two sons, Lawrence of Richland and Clark of Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Ted (Lucille) Ross, Mrs Doyle (Helen)Brown, Mrs. Omar (Dorothy) Black, all of Washington, and Mrs. Kenneth (Martha) Brown of New London; 27 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Alice) Pagitt, Mrs. Rebecca Butler, and Mrs. Naomi Kephart, all of Washington; and one brother, Sam of Washington. He was preceded in death by one sister, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Schooley; and six grandchildren.
