Eva Anna Fosdick, 92, died Sunday, Jan 18, 1987, at the Crestview Acres Care Center in Marion, where she had been a resident for several years.
Services will be Tuesday at 11AM at St Mary's Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Mann officiating. Burial will be in the St Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held Monday at 7:30PM at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30PM today.
Mrs Fosdick was born Jan 24, 1894, in Clear Creek Township, a daughter of John and Kathryn (Streit) Palm. She attended country schools and Keota High School. She married Charles A. Fosdick in Keota on Jan 18, 1916. He died on July 4, 1955. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include four sons, Richard of Texas City, Texas; Leonard of Cedar Rapids; Gerald of Phoenix, Ariz; Francis of Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Marcella Monaghan of Marion; Kaye Fulragh; and Sister Anita Fosdick of Cedar Rapids; 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Donald and Lambert; four grandchildren; eight sisters and two brothers.
