Mrs. Emma Stockman died Monday morning at the Iowa City Hospital, where she had been for the past two weeks taking treatment for diabetis. Mrs. Stockman would have been 76 years of age in a few days was one of Brighton's oldest residents.

Her husband Isaac died about three and one-half years ago. She is survived by an adopted son, Will Stockman of West Chester; one sister Mrs. Clark Ball of Ottumwa, and one brother John Hagans, of near Libertyville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Christian church of which she was a member, in charge of the Pastor Rev. Thompson.

Mr. Will Stockman of West Chester, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Stockman and Mr. and Mrs. John Martin of Rock Island and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Schmidt of Oskaloosa are here for the services.
