Kenneth Earl WATSON, 60, of 201 E. Harrison St., Washington, Iowa, died September 21, 1972, at the Washington County Hospital. He had been in failing health since last December.

Mr. WATSON was born near, West Chester, Iowa, November 15, 1911, a son of Christopher and Mary BAKER WATSON. He was married December 22, 1938 to Rosalie WILES. They farmed southeast of Ainsworth and he had been employed at the city water works since moving there last July. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rosalie, one son, Robert of Columbus Junciton, one daughter, Mrs. Allan(Gladys) FERGUSON of Washington; three grandchildren; five brothers, Cloyce of Milwaukee, Oregon, Gordon of Abington, Ill., Glen of Burlington, Don of Davenport and Wilbur of Washington. Two sisters, one half-sister and one grandson preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 23, 1972, at Jones Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Wesley LOWRY of Bussey, Iowa and the Rev. Lloyd BAUER in charge. Burial was in the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washingon, Iowa
