LUKE BRYAN AND WIFE NANCY RICHARDS

I am searching for information related to my GGGrandfather, Luke Bryan. I believe he was town sheriff or marshal in Indianola about 1850. He was married to Nancy Richards who died there about 1850. He later moved to Clarinda, IA where his wife (and my GGGrandmother) was Elizabeth Jane Calhoun. Luke died in 1900. His brother was Peter Gad Bryan who was a Dr. and Lawyer. P. Gad Bryan served in the IA legislature from the Des Moines area. Wes Durst
