Warren Speer, Indianola

Warren G Speer, 77 of Indianola, died of heart failure Aug. 4, 1996 at his home. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will be at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Indianola.

He was born in Martensdale and had lived in Indianola since 1954. He was a retired scaler for Paxton Lumber company in Des Moines. He was a member of the Warren County Historical Society and had served in the United States Army during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Speer.

Surviving relatives include one son, Paul Speer of Indianola; one daughter, Sally Speer of Indianola; and three brothers, Arthur Speer of Martensdale, Ernest Speer of Winterset, and Howard Speer of West Plains, Mo.
