Clem L. Davis
(November 10, 1875 – November 8, 1955)

Mr. and Mrs. Clem Davis
Clem L. Davis was born Nov. 10, 1875 in Indianola, and died in November 1955 in a Caldwell, Idaho hospital. He was married March 17, 1896 in Indianola to Nora Mae Maine. They farmed in Iowa until 1903, when they moved to Tacoma, Wash. The couple moved to Salem, Ore., in 1906, to Roseburg, Ore., in 1914 and to Kuna in 1928. Mrs. Davis died Nov. 21, 1931. He was married Oct. 3, 1934 to Ollie C. Park of Parma, and the couple lived in Parma until moving to Monroe, Wash. in 1940. They moved to Homedale in July 1955. He was a member of the Monroe Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Davis are a son, Perle Davis of Homedal; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest C. Brunk of Salem; a brother, William Davis of Indianola, and eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ollie (Campbell) Davis
(July 28, 1871 – December 20, 1955)
Mrs. Davis, the former Ollie Campbell, was born in McLean County, Illinois, July 28, 1871. She moved to Indianola with her parents where she grew to young womanhood. She attended high school and Simpson College and later taught school. She married Clem Park and they made their home in Indianola. Later they moved to Parma, Idaho, where Mr. Park died. On Oct 3, 1934 she married Mr. Davis and they moved to Monroe, Wash. where they lived until their health failed and they moved to Homedale, Idaho, to be near Mr. Davis’ son, Perle. Mrs. Davis had a stroke and heart trouble so was cared for in the home of her niece, Mrs. Cleora Campbell Fisk in Parma. She died Dec 20, 1955 and funeral services were conducted Dec 22 at Kirkpatric Memorial Community Church in Parma with interment in the Parma Cemetery. A cousin, Hettie Campbell Marsh, resides in Indianola and another cousin, Miss Ida Campbell, in Webster City. She is also survived by nephews and nieces in Illinois, Iowa, Idaho, Oregon and California. Source - Record Herald & Indianola Tribune, Indianola, Iowa, Thurs., April 5, 1956, p.11
