Death Takes Heavy Toll In Milo Neighborhood
Anna, daughter of Lawrence and Emma Putz, was born near Milo, April 10, 1918, and departed this life February 11th, 1939, at the age of 20 years, 9 months and one day. Anna had been in poor health for several months but her condition was not considered serious until near the last. Everything possible was done but death claimed her. She was a patient sufferer to the end. She leaves to mourn her loss, besides her parents, seven sisters: Edith, Margaret, Marcella, Lorene, Louise, Wanda and Mrs. Stella McElroy, also three brothers: Gene, Herman, and Donald. A sister, Josephine, preceded her in death, also a brother, Gerald. She lived near Milo all her life and was loved by all who knew her. Always pleasant, with a jolly disposition, never complaining, she will be greatly missed especially by her loved ones at home. Anna was a faithful member of the Catholic church. Services were held Monday morning at 10 o’clock conducted by Father Divine. The body was tenderly laid at rest in Belmont Cemetery.
