Harold L. Catron, 69, of Milo died of complications of diabetes and kidney failure Friday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mosher Funeral Home in Milo, with burial at Hammondsburg Cemetery.
Mr. Catron was born in Savensburg, Kan., and had lived in Milo 30 years. He was a retired carpenter, a Korean War veteran and member of the Carpenters local.
Surviving are his wife, Desiree; a son, Steven of Ackworth; four daughters, Victoria Legvold of Oskaloosa, Angela Shannon of Milo, Marsha Grandstaff of Indianola and Patricia Young of Ackworth; two brothers, Lowell of Lewiston, Mo., and Henry of Boone; a sister, Roberta Frank of Union City, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Mosher Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Iowa Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
