Wanda Rose Davis
(September 25, 1933 - April 10, 2021)

Wanda Rose Davis, 87, returned to her heavenly father on April 10, 2021. Wanda was born to the late Cecil and Jesse Mae (Miler) Poil on September 25, 1933 in Osceola Iowa. Growing up during the Depression, she was forced to leave school early and began work at the tender age of 14.
She married Jacob Patrick Daeges on May 26, 1951 in Carroll, Iowa. Three children were born to this union. Wanda became widowed on September 2, 1963 when Patrick died from injuries sustained in a car accident. Wanda married a second time on May 28, 1964 in Missouri, to Charley Dewey Davis. One child was born to this union.
Wanda was a very private person, working for many years at the local Best Western Motel in Osceola. She was a kind, loving and soft-spoken woman with a great sense of humor. Her family was very important to her and the glue that bound them together. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and find comfort knowing that she is at home and at peace with her heavenly father and those who wait for her on the other side.
Left to carry on Wanda’s legacy and love are her four children: daughter, Connie (Tim) Samuelson of Huxley, Iowa; son, David Daeges of Galena, Missouri; daughter, Cheryl Lenhart (Darren) of Winterset, Iowa and Shelly Humble (Aaron) of Milo, Iowa; grandchildren: Hollie (Brock Williamson) Mason, Cody (Shannon) Mason, Davey Estell, Jake Daeges, Matthew Lenhart, Nathaniel Lenhart, Trista Humble (Tony), Ryan Humble (Cari), Tyler (Nikki) Humble, Jennifer Daeges (deceased) and Josh Bruns (deceased), 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Wanda will be warmly welcomed to her heavenly home by her parents, sister Eleanor and husbands Patrick and Charley.
