Mrs. Darnell Dies
Mrs. George Darnell passed away Saturday evening at 6:00 o’clock in Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. Mrs. Darnell underwent an operation a few days ago which was followed by peritonitis resulting in her death August 22nd. She was 62 years old and is survived by her husband and five children: Thomas of Peoria, Illinois; Leo of Long Beach, California; Harold of Casper, Wyoming; Mrs. Jennie Allendar of Dennison, and Miss Lorraine who is at home. Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
