Greta Gladys Clark, daughter of Wade A. and Nora E. Clary, was born in Warren County June 28, 1905, and died at her home in Carlisle Aug. 7, 1946, at the age of 41 years, 1 month and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Clarence A. Clark Jan. 10, 1923. To this union two children were born. Mrs. Clark spent her entire life in Warren County. She was a kind and loving mother, always most interested in the welfare of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Clark had been in poor health for several years, becoming seriously ill just a few days ago. Surviving are her husband; a son, Leo of Carlisle; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Quick, of Swan; her father, Wade Clary of Carlisle; a brighter Dewey of Indianola; three sisters, Mrs. Ina Towne, Mrs. Wilma Town and Mrs. Ferne Goode, all of Carlisle, besides a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at the Orr Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. W. J. Teeuwissen Jr., pastor of the Indianola United Presbyterian Church. Interment was at Indianola.
